The Notah Begay III Jr. Golf National Championship Series (NB3 JGNC) is a 2-stage qualifying process culminating in a 54-hole National Championship that will air on Golf Channel during a 2-hour broadcast. The Series is open to all juniors. The top 5 boys and top 5 girls in the UHY Prep Series - Southern California will move on to the NB3 Southern California Qualifier (location / date TBD).
EVENT OVERVIEW
The UHY Prep Series is conducted in conjunction with UHY's official sponsorship of the AJGA. UHY is the presenting sponsor of the AJGA’s Beau Hossler Junior Presented by UHY which will be held at Mission Viejo CC in July 2025. The boys and girls champions of the UHY Prep Series will earn an exemption* to the Beau Hossler Junior Presented by UHY. Trophies will be awarded to the boys and girls champion; medals will be awarded to the runners up and third place finishers. Registration for the UHY Prep Series - Southern California is now open.

* AJGA EXEMPTIONS
The top boys and girls finishers in each of the boys and girls divisions will be awarded an exemption to the AJGA Junior Championship listed above. Juniors earning the exemptions must be a member of the AJGA and pay the applicable tournament registration fee to participate in the AJGA Junior Championship. If the individual earning the exemption is not a current AJGA member, they must purchase an AJGA membership and register for the AJGA Junior Championship two weeks in advance of the published AJGA registration deadline. In the event any of the top finishers in each of the boys and girls divisions chooses not to utilize the exemption or does not register in accordance with the previously stated timeline, such exemption will be awarded to the next highest finisher in the Prep Series that did not receive an exemption. This procedure based on finishing order will continue until the exemption is utilized.
